Privacy Policy

Isle of Fortune Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore with company number 201701672D, whose registered office is at 3, Church Street, #25-01, Samsung Hub, Singapore 049483, (“Isle of Fortune” “us”, or “we”) operates the Isle of Fortune application (the “App”). The operation of the App involves the collection and processing of personal data about you i.e. information allowing your direct or indirect identification.

The Privacy Policy (“Policy”) aims to explain how Isle of Fortune, as the controller, will process personal data you provide in connection with the App and the choices available to you regarding the collection and use of your personal data. Please read this Policy carefully before you use the App. By using the App, you agree and, where required, consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information as set out in this Policy.

1.  What data does Isle of Fortune collect about you? 

The App is only available to registered users. Thus, to be able to access the App and use the services available on it you will need to create an account by providing your first name and last name, date of birth, gender, country (and state where applicable) as well as your e-mail address. If you choose not to provide us with this information that is mandatory, you will not be able to access the App and benefit from the services available through it.

With your consent (if necessary), we will also collect information on your location to allow us to ensure that the App is accessed from locations where it can be legally operated.


2.  Storage and security

We will use all reasonable endeavours to maintain the security of your personal data and to protect your personal data from misuse, interference and loss and against unauthorised collection, copying, access, modification or disclosure. Where you have chosen a password to access certain services of the App, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Do not share your password with anyone.

Due to the nature of the internet, we do not provide any guarantee or warranty regarding the security of your personal data during transmission to us or storage by us and you acknowledge that you disclose your personal data to us at your own risk. Please contact us immediately if you become aware or have reason to believe there has been any unauthorised use of your personal data in connection with the App.


3.  How will Isle of Fortune use your data?

The personal data collected by Isle of Fortune is used in connection with the provision to you of the App as per the EULA, for the purpose of: 

  • Creating your Account on the App and providing you with the services available on it including participating in the Quizzes, receiving your Prize and using interactive tools made available through the App;
  • Administering and managing the App; and 
  • Communicating with you and responding to your requests. 

It may also be used for: 

  • Advertising and marketing purposes, with your consent (where required by law) or based on legitimate interests grounds, in order to provide you with information relating to our new products and services (please see section 7 below for further details).
  • Meeting our legal, regulatory and compliance requirements as required by applicable laws.


4.  With whom will Isle of Fortune share your data?

Your personal data will be disclosed to: 

  • Authorized members of our personnel in charge of managing the services available through the App;
  • Authorized banks for the purpose of fulfilling the transfer of the Prize to your bank account;
  • Third party service providers that help Isle of Fortune manage personal data and operate the App; and
  • Any other third party where we are required to do so by applicable laws and regulations or court order, or if such disclosure is necessary for the purpose of a statutory investigation or legal proceedings.


5.  Tracking Technologies

Isle of Fortune will automatically collect technical information about your Device and your visits on the App, such as the type of Device used, the times you access the App, the areas of the App you have visited and your IP address. This information is used for analytics purposes and is necessary to enable us to improve and administer the App.

In addition, Isle of Fortune will allow you to share what you have been doing on the App on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. To allow you to do so, these social media platforms may use their own tracking technologies that are not within our control. Please refer to the respective privacy and/or cookie policies of the relevant social media platform to learn more on how their tracking technologies work and how to disable them. We are not responsible for the security or privacy of any information collected by such social media platforms.


6.  Transfer of your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

The personal data you provide in connection with your use of the App will be transferred and processed in Singapore where Isle of Fortune’s teams, in charge of managing and operating the App, are established as well as to our service provider located in the United States in charge of hosting our database.

As these communications involve transfers of data to countries where data protection rules are different from those in effect in the EEA and Singapore, Isle of Fortune has taken steps to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Transfers of your personal data to Isle of Fortune in Singapore will be carried out upon your consent.

Furthermore, the hosting service provider has certified to the Privacy Shield scheme, as set up by the European Commission and the US Department of Commerce and designed to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EEA to the United States. We will ensure that our hosting service provider in the United States will provide you with a standard of protection that is at least comparable to the protection of your home jurisdiction.

7.  Marketing communications

In accordance with your choices in this respect, Isle of Fortune may use your personal data to send you by e-mail or by push notifications via the App, information, such as offers and updates, regarding our new products and services that may be of interest to you. If you would like to opt out of these communications you can do this at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link inserted in each e-mail and through the settings of your Device for push notifications or by contacting us at “”.


8.  How long will your data be retained by Isle of Fortune?

Isle of Fortune will retain personal data collected in connection with your use of the App for the duration of your registration on the App. If you choose to close your Account (and not merely uninstall the App), your personal data will be suppressed or anonymised (“except for the data we need to retain to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, or to allow us to maintain evidence of our rights and duties. However, we shall not retain such data, if the laws in your jurisdiction do not permit retention of your data on the closing of your Account.


9.  Minors

If you are a minor and wish to register on the App, please seek the approval of one of your parents or guardian before providing us with any personal data about you.


10.  Sale of the business

If our business is sold or integrated with another business, your data will be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchaser’s adviser and will be passed to the new owners of the business.


11. What are your rights in relation to the use of your data?

You have the right to access the personal data Isle of Fortune holds about you, to request that it be corrected, deleted, as well as the right to object upon legitimate grounds to the processing of your personal data. We will use all reasonable endeavours to keep personal data that we hold accurate, complete, up-to-date, relevant and not misleading.

Please note that the withdrawal of any authorisations for processing of your personal data by us or third parties may result in us not being able to provide you with access to the App or any Prizes.


12.  Changes to the Privacy Policy

If the Privacy Policy changes in any way, Isle of Fortune will place an updated version of the Policy in the App and where relevant take any other appropriate steps to ensure that you are always aware of the latest version of the Policy.
